                                                           Crossing the Distance   -   2003

This album was largely recorded in Aarhus/Denmark during the year 2000 by my friend John Pilkington. I was on my way back from Norway just after the millenium and dropped in at John’s where he played me a recording he’d made of me in 1990. While I was still getting over the surprise of it he got me to record some more and that’s how it started… Also Seamus Heffernan recorded 4 songs of this and Winter Skies was recorded in Liverpool by Ame (Ian Hampton). Mostly this album is just me and a guitar with a sprinkling of piano, electric guitar and acoustic bass.

                                                              Something Calling   -   1997

This was my first album, produced by Seamus Heffernan and myself and recorded at Shamrock Studios near    Blackburn. I play guitar, fiddle, piano, mandolin, acoustic bass, harmonica, electric guitar and  piano accordian (right hand only). Also joining me are Jan Hough with backing vocals, Paul Thompson on percussion and Les Hilton on harmonica. Thanks to Seamus for taking me seriously as a recording artist and thanks also to Stephen McNally for co-arranging the Nippy Sweetie part of Nippy Sweeties with me (sorry there’s no credit on the album Stephen). When funds allow I will get this album reprinted as I’ve run out.
